This is my impression after about three years of use.
First of all, the materials used are carefully selected wood, free of knots and warps, and varnished with multiple coats of thick varnish.
The joints are very neatly assembled and the edges are carefully curved.
The grain of the wood is also beautifully arranged so that the upper and lower sections match each other precisely, making full use of the quality of the material.
Both of my cases are made of horse chestnut wood, but in the case of the 10-piece case, the joints of the curly wood have a calculated "play" to allow for expansion and contraction, which is a characteristic of curly wood.
As for the interior, I chose sheepskin leather and it has not deteriorated in about three years, and the belt absorbs moisture properly and is comfortable to the touch.
With this amount of work, it was only natural that the delivery time would take longer.
Finally, there is something quaint about a watch that spends time with wood that has been aged for decades, and I will continue to use it with great care.

Both were tremendous curly wooden and highly satisfying.
The trays were made from a rare wood, so they were smaller than the walnut and other tray sizes shown on the website.
It measures 14.8 cm x 14.8 cm on the inside and 17 cm x 17 cm on the outside.
I'm not sure if you can put two clocks in this size.
I don't think it would be a problem unless you have two leather or rubber belts with D buckles at the same time.
I would like to have a matching tray with the watch case, but that would make the tray size too small. We hope this will be helpful for those who are wondering what size would allow them to place two watches on the tray.

Hawaiian koa, if I had to describe it in one word, it would be "wood with 100 faces.
Depending on the angle of view, the weather of the day, the illumination of the room, and the time of day, it really shows a variety of expressions.
All of them are mysterious, massive, and shimmering. It may be an exaggeration to say so, but it is hard to believe that there is such a beautiful wood in the world.
During the purchase process, Mr. Okuno carefully provided us with details about Hawaiian koa and other woods.
In addition, this time, we had the greatest luxury of being able to choose our favorite wood grain from among the five core wood cases.
Hawaiian koa is a very precious wood, and it takes a lot of time and effort from the time it is purchased to its commercialization by Soulbird,
I will use it in my home for generations to come, grateful for all that it has come to me by chance.

I did indeed receive the case I ordered last night.
We had ordered a case and tray for four watches and were very happy with them, but my wife's watches have unexpectedly increased in number, so we decided to order another case and tray to hold the number of watches we own.
I was well aware of the excellent quality and workmanship of Soulbird's cases, and I had no concerns about that.
However, we were concerned about the size of the tray and storage space, since we wanted to elaborate the interior to be able to store small items such as tools and replacement straps, but we took Tanaka's advice and decided on the final specifications.
The result is exactly as I envisioned and everything I envisioned fits under the tray. I will keep it with my companion's watch this year for our silver wedding anniversary, with a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
I immediately tried to “put to sleep” my beloved machines. Please see the attached photos.
The case for four watches will be used again in the unlikely event that the number of watches increases to a net increase (I'm already planning to stop (sweat)) or when the number of watches is reduced in the future (this is a big possibility (laugh)).
